“ Food is always fresh so there is usually a wait in the drive thru. Food is definitely worth the wait. I've never eaten inside so I can't say much about the inside. Chicken tenders are large and taste homemade. Fish is good. Couldn't decide what I wanted so I ordered the Admirals Dinner. They ran out of crabcakes so they substituted with a bacon wrapped shrimp was delicious. Staff is always friendly and helpful. ”

“ I always order what I want and I know how I want it! J. Anthony's is awesome because I am prepared when I walk through the door on what I am going to get to eat! If it's just 2 of you, let me recommend the 9 piece (you gotta take some home) with a side of shrimp! Don't forget your ice cold Pepsi or sweet tea to wash it down! I don't frequent this restaurant all the time, but when I do... it's always great service and food! ”
“ Picked up dinner for the family from here since I was tired of the regular options. I ordered a 20 piece family meal, a burger, and an extra side. It came with a gallon of sweet tea, I dont drink tea and it couldnt be subbed out so work people will be getting a gallon of tea. The fish fillets were large and very good. The steamed veggies are huge chunks of potato, carrot, celery, and squash. The cajun rice was very good, it was a bit spicy but nothing unbearable. The burger was devoured quickly so I can only assume it was good also. All the food came out to roughly 40. I had a lot of food left over which is always nice, I dont have to worry about lunch tomorrow for work. ”

“ my husband and i came here to eat because i was craving catfish and everything about this place was perfect, the servers were so sweet and attentive and the food was delicious, i am from florida so i am used to fresh seafood and theirs was fresh and yummy. i also really loved the decor and homestyle atmosphere of the restaurant. hands down my favorite seafood place in san antonio we will definitely be back. ”
